Private by design¶
Models can run entirely on your machine. Your documents, your pins, your notes — they stay where you put them. Server mode keeps everything inside your organization's own infrastructure.
Windows and macOS¶
Native desktop app on both platforms. Full installs include everything (Core service, models, llama inference); UI-Only installs are ~63 MB and point at a remote server.

Documents¶
Upload PDFs to a matter. Recall extracts text, infers the document kind (case opinion, statute, law review, brief, and more), pulls citation metadata, and indexes for search.
Research¶
Keyword or semantic search across a matter. Filter by category. Jump into the PDF at the match.
Clerk AI¶
Rewrite passages in six styles or chat with your matter's documents. Powered by local Llama 3.1, optional Phi-3.5, or a remote generator.
Pins¶
Save excerpts with source, page, pinpoint, and notes. Insert them into Word with a click.
Word integration¶
COM on Windows, Apple Events on macOS. Insert pins as inline quotes, cite-only, block quotes, or parenthetical citations.
Citations¶
Auto-detected inside documents (full, short, Id., supra, statute, journal). Auto-formatted on insertion. Table of Authorities on demand.
